    Dr. Leo Toureno is committed to providing his patients with the highest level of dental care possible. Dr Leo Toureno received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and is Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry. He ranked in the top 5% of his class and achieved some of the highest grades nationwide on his National Dental Board Examinations. He is also a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association and the Southern Arizona Dental Association.

    Dr. Toureno believes in lifelong learning in order to keep up-to-date on the exciting new advances in modern dentistry. With over 700 hours of postgraduate education in the last four years, Dr. Toureno has studied Laser Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Aesthetic Dentistry, Orthodontics, Invisalign, Endodontics (root canals) and Migraines/TMJ. This advanced training allows Dr. Toureno to give you a smile that is healthy and looks the way you always imagined it could. From the best options in periodontal (gum) treatments, to easier and faster ways to straighten your teeth, you can receive virtually pain-free dental care, often in a less invasive way than ever before!

    Dr. Toureno is dedicated to giving back to the dental field in his capacity as teacher, researcher, and volunteer. He has served as Teaching Assistant at the USC School of Dentistry, as Clinical Instructor for Pima Community College Dental Hygiene Program, and as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. A dedicated author, his research in oral health has been published in well respected scientific journals. He also enjoys participating in Give Kids a Smile Day to teach children the importance of a healthy mouth.

Welcome, I'm Dr. Toureno's Clinical Assistant and with over 30 years of experience I understand your needs and concerns. When you come in for your initial visit I will make sure you feel welcomed and comfortable. I truly enjoy working with Dr. Toureno and together we provide the BEST treatment for you.

I attended Kaw Valley Vocational School in Topeka, Kansas and have since earned my certificate in Coronal Polishing and Radiation Health & Safety. My husband and I have 2 wonderful grown children. We moved to Tucson in 2006 and love to explore and enjoy Arizona and its beautiful sceneries.
